A floral arrangement: The Dorchester hotel launches an Afternoon Tea home delivery in partnership with RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The Dorchester at Home series will celebrate the first virtual Chelsea Flower Show with a specially designed hamper
To celebrate the start of the first virtual RHS Chelsea Flower Show, The Dorchester is launching a home delivery Afternoon Tea, inspired by the world famous horticultural fair. Created in partnership with the Chelsea Flower Show, 100% of proceeds from the CFS Afternoon Tea hamper will benefit the Royal Horticultural Society – the world’s leading gardening charity – throughout the duration of the show.
Guests can order the CFS Afternoon Tea hamper from today, and for £60 will receive specially themed treats including finger sandwiches, scones and pastries, as well as a bottle of Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label Brut NV. If that’s not quite enough to capture the magic of a meal in the hotel’s The Promenade, its resident pianist has also released two videos of music – contemporary and classical – to help recreate the experience at home. >>
The Dorchester at Home takeaway and delivery service will continue through June with Traditional Afternoon Tea Hampers and ‘Make It Yourself’ hampers from The Grill at The Dorchester, including all the ingredients to create dishes such as the Beef Wellington, or a take on head chef Tom Booton’s popular Lobster Thermidor Tart. A percentage of the proceeds from sales of all Dorchester at Home products will be donated to Manorfield Primary, an inspiring school in Tower Hamlets.
Chelsea Flower Show will run online from Monday 18 May (Member’s Day) until Saturday 23 May, bringing budding gardeners and horticultural fans alike a range of talks and events, including daily videos from well-known designers, gardening presenters and experts; lunchtime Q&A sessions with RHS Advisors and special guests; behind-the-scenes tours from award-winning nurseries and advice on caring for them; and a daily School Gardening Club with activities for families to grow plants and connect with nature.
