With the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrating the birth of their third child on 23 April – a rather apt St George's Day arrival – royal fans are turning their eyes toward the upcoming nuptials of Prince Harry to former Suits star Meghan Markle on 19 May. Among them is the five-star hotel Royal Lancaster London, which has put together a luxurious Royal Wedding package to mark the month of May.

Recently renovated, the hotel's Royal Suite boasts 360˚ panoramic view over Hyde Park and the city's skyline. With a night's stay beginning at £3,500 per night, guests can enjoy a bottle of Ruinart NV Champagne on arrival, before indulging in a Signature Afternoon Tea in the lobby bar.

The package also includes a full English Breakfast served in the suite, and a personalised VIP hamper from Royal Warrant holding department store Fortnum & Mason. As they leave, guests receive a White Company gift bag, a £100 voucher for Harrods or Selfridges and a Royal Wedding Souvenir to commemorate the occasion. >>

Launched in 1967, The Royal Lancaster London is located near Hyde Park's Lancaster Gate, and has hosted famous guests including Diana, Princess of Wales, Mohammed Ali, The Beatles' Yellow Submarine after-party and was a filming location for Michael Caine's The Italian Job.

“The hotel has had a rich and celebrated past, having opened as one of the chicest hotels in London in September 1967," General Manager Sally Beck said. "50 years later, Royal Lancaster London is once again one of the most stylish hotels in the capital. We are looking forward to the next 50 years."

Reopening in February following a full refurbishment costing £80 million, the 18-storey hotel has 411 rooms and suites each with views across London's skyline.
