This romantic one-of-one McLaren Spider 570S has been commissioned by a ‘secret admirer’

Luxury car brand McLaren are playing supercar cupid this Valentine's Day, after announcing that a mystery car fan has commissioned a bespoke 570S Spider especially for Valentine's Day. Finished in a vibrant vermillion red – to match the lady's love of red roses – the car will be delivered to the lucky owner on 14 February.
The hand-assembled supercar boasts interiors in shades of Apex Red and Jet Black Nappa leathers, as well as a carbon black Alcantara trim. The bespoke design also features seatbelts in Indian Red from McLaren Special Operations, red brake callipers and personalised tyres to complete the unique appearance.
The McLaren team are eager to discover the identity of their 'secret admirer', but it is not the first time the sporty car brand has gone above and beyond to create a unique vehicle from their factory in Woking, England. The special operations team at McLaren specialises in creating off the menu masterpieces, from amending colour or design modifications to creating personalised paintwork, material upgrades and one of a kind models. >>

While the MSO team is eager to discover the identity of their secret admirer, it is not the first time the sporty car brand has done above and beyond to deliver a unique vehicle to an ambitious client from their factory in Woking, England.
Last November the MSO created a one-off 720S inspired by a quote from the company's founder, Bruce McLaren, and presented to a customer at the Dubai Motor Show. The quote, 'Life is measured in achievement, not years alone', was written in Arabic on the custom rear wing, and styled to resemble the Dubai skyline.
The quote sums up not just Dubai, but McLaren's own driving force within the automotive industry – as will undoubtedly be explored in the upcoming documentary biopic of the brand founder. Following Bruce McLaren's life from early disability to establish his Formula 1 team, which has boasted such F1 stars as Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Jenson Button in the driver's seat.
