As Fashion Week returns to London once again for a showcase of the best of spring and summer couture, we round up the best hotels and restaurants to visit during the event
London is once again gearing up to host the best of fashion and couture at the spring/summer edition of the London Fashion Week. Running from 18 to 22 September, this is the premier style event of the season, where the biggest names in the industry will descend upon the city to introduce and showcase their interpretations on the English runways. And while the high-fashion catwalks and public shows will keep the fashionistas occupied, this will serve as a great opportunity to also explore the many amazing restaurants and hotels in the city – many of which are couture hotspots, attracting the most discerning and fashionable clientele during this season. Here, we round up some of the best luxury hotels and restaurants to stay and dine in during London Fashion Week.
WHERE TO STAY…At Sloane
…At Sloane is one of the most incredible hidden gems of Sloane Square. Conceived & directed by legendary hotelier Costes, it combines discreet British charm with timeless Parisian flair to offer guests a unique experience. The hotel is designed by Francois-Joseph Graf and features 30 individually designed rooms and suites, inspired by the arts & crafts movement and reminiscent of a private residence. The hotel also sports a top-floor restaurant inspired by Whistler’s Peacock Room, and a Parisian-style bar with walls decorated in photography by James D Kelly. Perfectly positioned between the King’s Road and Sloane Street’s designer boutiques, it’s a natural backdrop for fashion insiders this season.45 Park Lane
With just 46 rooms and suites, 45 Park Lane feels more like a private members’ club than a hotel, offering an atmosphere of intimacy and calm only moments away from the shows. For Fashion Week guests, it provides a sanctuary where every detail is tailored with the utmost confidentiality and care. From the incredible private spa which features a 20m heated pool, a hydrotherapy tub, sauna and steam room and more to the restaurant’s delectable and ultra-exclusive omakase restaurant Sushi Kanesaka, there is something for every fashion lover at 45 Park Lane. Discretion and exclusivity are at the heart of the hotel experience, making it a natural choice for those looking to balance the energy of Fashion Week with the calm of a private Mayfair retreat. The Standard London
Housed in the former Camden Town Hall Annex in London’s King’s Cross, the 1974 brutalist building has been meticulously restored and sets the perfect stage for The Standard London. The hotel has 266 rooms ranging from snug rooms to terraced suites with outdoor bathtubs overlooking St Pancras station. On the ground floor, you’ll find Double Standard, their street-facing bar and restaurant which is home to their legendary burger, delicious slushie cocktails and their bottomless Sunday brunch. Isla offers an approachable seasonal menu, with a fabulous list of wine and cocktails. Their 10th-floor restaurant, Decimo is a must-visit, where chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias’ showcases his live-fire cooking surrounded by a 360-degree view of London – only accessible by the exterior red pill lift. For seasonal fun, The Rooftop is the perfect outdoor spot with drinks, bites and beats.Flemings Mayfair

Just moments from London’s luxury shopping districts, the hotel is perfectly placed for fashion week guests seeking both sophistication and convenience. Inside, Flemings offers a chic sanctuary: 129 rooms and suites, ten fully serviced apartments, and the newly renovated Oscar Wilde-inspired Townhouse Suite, where literary heritage meets timeless design. Culinary indulgence comes courtesy of Ormer Mayfair, the intimate, dimly lit Michelin-starred restaurant led by Sofian Msetfi. The charming Drawing Room, offers a serene setting for breakfast, traditional afternoon tea, or quiet relaxation by the original marble fireplace and hand-painted de Gournay wall panels, whilst the chic Manetta’s Bar exudes the swanky charm of the 1930s, with plush velvet seating, sleek black upholstery, and polished rose gold accents – a glamorous setting for some of Mayfair’s most stylish cocktails. L’oscar
L’oscar was once a Baroque-style, Grade II listed church, which has now transformed into an architectural treasure of rare extravagance. Reimagined by celebrated designer Jacques Garcia, the interiors deliberately eschew traditional English style, instead evoking the theatrical opulence of Paris. From stylised peacock doors and mirrored counters in the Baptist Bar to butterfly-wing taps and an eclectic collection of objets d’art, every detail at L’oscar has been curated to enchant. The result is a heady blend of decadence, irreverence and a dash of risqué glamour. Created to seduce both the eye and the senses, L’oscar London is the ideal place to stay during Fashion Week, a sanctuary where style, spectacle and indulgence come together.
WHERE TO DRINK AND DINEThe Dover
The Dover restaurant is one of the most sought after reservations in town. Serving Italian dishes with a New York attitude and martinis into the early hours, it has become the hottest table. Hidden behind a deep burgundy, heavy velvet curtain, the intimate dining room is dotted with florals in red and pink hues and features tables dressed with double tablecloths and traditional candlesticks, reminiscent of a bygone era of fine dining that this restaurant has brought to London. Exuding a contemporary, art-deco vibe through dim lights, curved American Walnut paneling, sultry textures and a black and white marble chequered floor, this is one stop on your London Fashion Week jaunt you simply cannot miss.La Petite Maison London
La Petite Maison (LPM) was founded in London in 2007 and has since brought the essence of the Côte d’Azur to the global dining scene. There is a joie de vivre to be found in LPM that is hard to find elsewhere. Known for its light, imaginative menus with Mediterranean ingredients, laid-back and friendly service style, open and airy dining rooms with art and Belle Époque influences, it is the perfect place to debrief after a long day at fashion week. Vesper Bar
Vesper, the chic bar inside The Dorchester in Park Lane, is the ultimate place for a pre-show cocktail, celebratory evening drink, or late-night nightcap during Fashion Week. Its new cocktail menu, Eterna, is inspired by the Golden Ratio – the mathematical principle celebrated for its beauty, balance, and harmony – and takes guests on a journey from light, clean profiles to rich, complex flavours delivering storytelling in every sip. This theme translates into a progressive cocktail journey that mirrors the ratio’s elegant spiral: beginning with lighter, cleaner profiles before unfolding into richer, more complex flavours. A Wong
Located in London’s Victoria, A.Wong is the only Chinese restaurant outside of Asia to hold 2 Michelin stars. Chef Andrew Wong showcases the rich diversity of China’s food culture and 14 international borders through artistry and dedication. The restaurant is a hotspot for London’s jetset and visiting guests with discerning taste, making it perfect for an elevated lunch during fashion week. With Andrew Wong being one of the most celebrated chefs currently working, this would be a great spot to decompress in the middle of a hectic fashion-forward day.The Twenty Two
The Twenty Two is a suave dining destination for those looking to stay stylish between or after shows. Located at 22 Grosnevor Square, The Twenty Two is set in an elegant Mayfair townhouse and offers a refined yet fashion-forward retreat.
