From the Ralph Fiennes-led Conclave to Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody, here are all the winners from the 2025 BAFTAs

Baftas 2025 conclaveOn Sunday, 16 February, Hollywood’s biggest stars descended upon London’s Royal Festival Hall for the 2025 annual British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs). Ralph Fiennes’s papal thriller Conclave took home four awards, including the top prize — winning both best film and outstanding British film. The film’s other wins were in editing and adapted screenplay.

The ceremony, which is a celebration of the best of British and international cinema from the past year, also awarded the war epic The Brutalist with four prizes, tying it with Conclave. Its star Adrien Brody won best actor, making this his first ever BAFTA award. The film also won for cinematography, score and directing.

Emilia Perez, which was nominated in 11 categories total, took home only two awards — the other one being for best film not in English language. The film’s star, Karla Sofía Gascón, was absent from the ceremony after coming under fire for a series of Islamophobic and racist social media posts from 2020 and 2022 posted to Twitter (now X).

A Real Pain, written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg (who also starred in it), also took home the award for best original screenplay. The film is about two cousins who revisit their family history by taking a trip to Poland.
