Scottish restaurant Mac & Wild – London's self-describe Highland Hideaway – has upped the ante with the launch of a new shooting range and whisky bar in the lower ground floor of its Devonshire Square. Bringing two of Scotland's greatest past-times to the City, guests will enjoy a 200-strong whisky menu devised by Blair Bowman and a variety of Scottish snacks, while testing their mettle in the venue's virtual gun room.

Bassoon at Corinthia Hotel London

This summer, the Corinthia Hotel London's Bassoon Bar has been transformed into a 1920s New Orleans-themed speakeasy, with the art, music and cocktail menu all reminiscent of a time gone by. Beautifully curated, the upscale bar is celebrating the colliding cultures and jazz aesthetics of the Big Easy era, with a cocktail menu riffing off classics such as Martinis, Julips and Gin Fizzes.

Mission Impossible: Fallout
