Fashioned from Nature

Putting the spotlight on the relationship between nature and fashion, Fashioned from Nature explores how organic materials and fibres have influenced popular trends throughout history, inviting visitors to learn more about how their most treasured sartorial gems are sourced. Not-to-be-missed exhibits in the line-up include the Calvin Klein Green Carpet Challenge dress donned by actress Emma Watson at 2016’s Met Gala, and Ensemble, a 2017 statement two-piece horse motif suit by Stella McCarteney, an advocate for sustainability.

Until 27 January 2019

The Leopard Bar at The Rubens at The Palace

If you’re seeking a new cocktail sampling haunt, The Rubens at The Palace should be your next port of call, as their newest gastronomic launch the Leopard Bar officially opens it doors as part of the hotel’s multi-million-pound refurbishment. Guests can sip on a wide selection of beverages including more than 200 whiskies and 30 Champagnes to an elegant backdrop of live jazz music and Buckingham Palace views.

Opens 24 May

Big Brass Brunch at Plateau

Taking the Dubai concept of bottomless brunch to the city, the Big Brass Brunch party at Plateau Restaurant, Bar & Grill is the tastiest way to experience Canary Wharf’s fantastic panoramic cityscape – with live music and a glass of fizz in hand.  Menu highlights include spicy crab with scrambled eggs, Oreo french toast with whipped cream, and the big Brass burger with camembert. Those with a smaller appetite needn't miss out as lighter dishes are also on offer, including the Just One Cornet-o with red velvet cream and blueberries.

Prosecco Springs Festival

Pop down to the UK’s largest festival dedicated entirely to everybody’s favourite Italian fizz. Taking over The Oval for the second year in a row, 2017’s inaugural event was a sell out and this year is tipped to be just as unmissable. Guests can enjoy an invigorating mix of prosecco or cocktail making Masterclasses, live music and delicious Italian street food, guaranteed to whet the appetite of even the most discerning prosecco fan. We’ll drink to that.
